It’s Saturday night so you know what that means…
A friend of mine works at a meat restaurant known as Gaemi. Gaemi usually means ‘ant’ so I was confused about the name. He said in a certain dialect it also means delicious!
Their specialty is yakiniku. Look below to see the pre-cooked deliciousness.
It comes with your usual fare of side dishes such as two types of radish, lettuce, etc. It also comes with a heaping bowl of acorn jelly (not pictured)
And most importantly, we came to try SUNHARI SOJU!
Flavored like the yuzu fruit (유자), people said it was quite fruity and delicious.
…And now dangerous. Because it’s doesn’t taste like soju. It tastes more refreshing like Sprite or 7-UP. However, by the 4th shot, I was starting to get the aftertaste of alcohol.
Did I get drunk? Well, we were certainly tipsy after two bottles.
We tried to make a happy face out of the meat and garlic.
Posing with the soju bottle! Oh, there’s the acorn jelly in front of me!
And on Alesia’s side too!
Here’s a shot of the exterior! Come on by! ❤
Meat can be ordered with cheese fondue. Highly recommended.
ENJOY THE NOMS!
