Fall Nails 2017 (Alesia and Jem Combo!)

Happy Autumn everyone!

It was time to put aside the summer nails, and time to break out the autumn colors (MY FAVORITE <3)

We got our nails done at Myjjunail (located near Hongdae Station Exit 3) We both selected one of the “Art of the Month” designs, yours (in gel) for 59,000 won! (Plus 10,000 won if you are removing previous gel. They charge for it even if your previous gel nails were done at their shop) Alesia was starting fresh, so I paid 69,000 for the removal of my nails.

The total process takes about 2 hours, 30 minutes. They put a lot of love into it.

Alesia and I chose the same shade of navy, while she included taupe and mustard.

I went for burgundy and burnt orange. Similar, but a little bit different!

We got a feature on their site! If you are interested, their information is listed on Instagram. Click here for more!:

We had a little disappointment as Alesia wasn’t satisfied with her colors and had to repaint a nail and I had a stone fall off the very next day.

Also already the mirror powder on my nail is cracking from the next day.

It was also very expensive. Think 100 dollars and up…

But I doooo love these colors…

Icy Winter Nails ♡

Hello everyone! This is Jem!

We are just two days away from Christmas and I’m sure you are busy getting prepared. I feel like I’ve barely gotten anything done o_o!

I came home to my hometown in New Jersey for the Christmas break! This will be my last time coming home to my hometown. My parents decided to move to Hawai’i after this, so starting from next year, it’s Christmas in warm weather.

Of course, even in warm weather, you can feel the Christmas spirit! Usually during the Christmas season, red is the popular choice for nail color. Red, gold, silver … I usually went this way too. But to celebrate winter itself, I went with blue this year. But I couldn’t stop there. GIVE ME GLITTER, ALL THE GLITTER!

I got blue mood-changing polish with rainbow glitter on top. ❤ When I’m cold, the nails are dark blue. When I’m warm, they are a light blue. And when I’m somewhere in between, the tips are dark blue and the bottom is light.

Haha, and yes, done up in Walmart.image

Light blue with a little blue tip!imageMostly light blue …

I wanted to include some inspiration for viewers out there for some nail ideas. ❤ Here come the icy winter nails!

If you are not a fan of the blue, this is a nice subtle way to go! ^^

I’ve never tried but this polish looks fun!

Keeping it cool… gorgeous blue color!

White Hot Manicures

June is coming to an end.

June is fantastic because it’s the season when it really starts getting warm (not quite unbearably hot yet!) but it’s also wedding season!

I can’t help but notice all of the gorgeous wedding-inspired white and pale pink manicures swirling around the Internet. I’d like to dedicate this post to some of the cutest manicures I’ve seen around. Getting married soon yourself? Get some inspiration!

The cream of the crop and my favorite! This was trending when ‘The Great Gatsby’ was released last year. Daisy was wearing a gradient French manicure such as this one and it was love at first sight for me.

How about nude/pale pink nails with a little bit of shine?

How about an even more bedazzled version?

Love, love, love. Enough said.

If you are into longer, pointier nails – this look may be for you. I don’t think I could pull it off, but I know quite a few people it would be gorgeous on.

A little more casual – maybe not for the big day, but on your honeymoon or for every day?

Finally an easily obtainable look!

Or if you like a more simple look, how about this polish from Chanel?

Chanel Frenzy Le Vernis

Love them all!
